Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Most of upper part preserved. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Red line at joint of neck.
Shoulder: strokes above lotus bud (skipping two).
Scene: warrior and youth in himation; warrior and woman; youth in himation, holding spear.

A few small fragments of one or more lekythoi of the same class in trays.
