Description: | Both handles, part of rim and considerable fragments of wall missing. Similar to P 24591 (ΣΑ 2801), but smaller and the concavity of the rim less marked. Deep bowl joined to a disk foot by a slight ring. Reserved: disk at center of floor, with a small central glazed circle; edge of rim inside; handle zone, and a line below it; outer edge of foot and resting surface and space at center of conical underside of foot. In the handle zone, single black figure palmettes on a chain of o'es; the palmettes framed and separated from each other by a petal now black but with traces of added color over (white). White, faded, also for dots around hearts of palmettes. | |
