Title:		Red Figure Stand Fragment

Description:		Five joining fragments and one non-joining from base of an object with hole in floor. High foot, concave, separated from body by grooved flange. Inside unglazed, with round hole in center of floor; traces of burning on under edge of hole. Good black glaze on outside; bottom thin wash. Wreath in added clay around foot. Part of uncertain object on wall in added clay and white. If fragment could be from top rather than bottom of vase, this would be a head, in red figure technique.
Context:		Fill mixed to Byz.
