Title:   Black Figure Neck Amphora Fragments

Description:   Several fragments, joining to five, preserve part of neck and shoulder. Heavy echinus rim, flat on top; rolled handles; raised ridge at junction of neck and shoulder.
Neck reserved; a head in profile left on either side. Panels on body; in each, a rider, left; preserved, in one panel the backs of rider and horse; in the other the horse's head.
Black glaze on rim, extending inside about half way down neck. Red bands and details.
Context:   Cut in front of S.E. Fountain House, layer 3, around and below top of rubble wall.
