Title:   Black Glaze Plate with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   Mended from four pieces; a small part of the rim and the center missing. Low ring base; side with slight slope upward, thickened and offset on exterior and interior.
In the center, a stamped medallion of five palmettes surrounded by rouletting.
Buff clay. Mottled red and black glaze over the entire vase; rather worn.
Context:   Cistern.
