Description: | Complete except for chips from rim. Flat base, slender flaring foot, three small angled round handles on shoulder, low flaring neck, flat downturned rim. Foot and lower body painted solid stripes on lower body, band and stripe at outer edge of rim, inside of neck, handles solid. Single curve-stemmed spiral between each pair of handles. Buff clay full of grit and pock marks. Good pale buff slip, streaky red-brown dull paint. Possibly Furumark, MP type 28 (LH II B-III A:1) motive 49 (III A:1-2). | |
