Description: | Complete but for chips from wall; mended from sixteen pieces. Same type as P 27448, but two vertical strap handles from rim to belly, faint ring foot nicely profiled, body well articulated. Paint all over outside and inside neck to 0.025m. Splash of paint under foot. Fine pale buff clay, better prepared than any other in this tomb; very dilute streaky matte red-black paint. Probably Furumark, MP type 66 or 67, but a variant in size and position of handles - LH II-III A-B. | |
