Title:   Pointed Pyxis with Incised Decoration

Description:   Mended complete except for chips. Handmade incised ware. Plain hole mouth with single opposite tie-holes. Strokes around mouth; wavy line on shoulder; wavy stroke-line on belly, inverted triangles, then wavy stroke-line with imposed circles in the troughs.
Soft buff clay, a high burnish in places. Parts blackened by coals.
