Description:   Fragment of krater or other large open basin. Incurving rim; part of crescent type handle. Horizontal line enclosing vertical zigzags on front of handle. On back of handles, oval with small circles in center; horizontal lines on lip and above handle with groups of four vertical lines between. Part of one curved line on body.
Buff clay; black glaze designs; light red-brown glaze on inside.
Notes:   d0.83-1.10m. below highest point of north wall.
Context:   Layer of road fill just outside Hieron north wall. Probably thrown out from interior fill in digging of Byz. pithos no. 2.
