Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Restored are parts of upper and lower wall and part of one handle. Made up of numerous joining fragments. Upper wall concave, lower wall reeded. Loop handles with projecting spurs at tops. Between handles garland of leaves encircling vase, rendered in thinned clay. Scraped line just above junction of lower wall with foot, another at junction of the two mouldings on the foot, another in groove of resting surface.
Shiny black glaze, now much worn.
Context:   Cistern and well.
