Title:   Black Glaze Echinus Bowl

Description:   Three joining fragments. Two opposite sections of lip preserved and most of base; much of wall missing. Restored in plaster. Incurving, echinus rim, ring foot. Fully glazed except resting surface (not grooved) and line wheel run through glaze at join of foot and wall. No stamped or rouletted decoration. Stacking circle on center of floor.
Shiny black glaze, somewhat worn; mottled in part underneath.
Context:   Well and cistern. Container 504.
