Title:   Moldmade Bowl

Description:   Nearly complete; several chips missing; mended from several pieces and restored in plaster.
Medallion: Medusa head, from which spring as many as five rows of small pointed leaves.
Middle zone: three groups, each composed of a naked bearded Satyr striding left with a wreath in his left hand and a bunch of grapes in his right, flanked on either side by rampant goats. The groups are separated by a Nike, posed frontally, at a smaller scale. Very large scale for Satyrs and goats.
Rim pattern: band of rosettes alternating with curlicues, surmounted by a row of double spirals and palmettes. Scraped groove below lip and around medallion.
Orange clay. Black to red glaze.
