Description:   Mended from several pieces; complete except for chips.
Medallion: small eight-petalled rosette surrounded by scraped band and row of dots; from this springs a row of tall ribbed leaves (nymphaea lotus? see Hesperia 3, 1934, p. 357, no. C 24).
Middle zone: large leafy fronds alternating with rosettes.
Rim pattern: tongue pattern, row of dots, double spirals and palmettes. Scraped groove below lip.
Orange clay. Metallic black glaze.
Context:   Cistern, boxes XIX and XX.
