Title:   Bowl: West Slope

Description:   Complete except for a few small chips; mended and restored in plaster. Large open bowl; thick moulded ring foot; convex walls; flat thickened rim. Resting surface reserved, two scraped grooves with miltos around foot. Plastic handles in imitation of metal attached to wall just below rim. On wall within handles, plastic Satyr's head. Decoration: around upper wall, double vine tendrils done in added clay with groups of dots in white; two scraped grooves with miltos. On top of rim: two scraped grooves with white bead and reel pattern between them in added clay. Strokes of added clay on handle and Satyr's head. Stacking circle on floor.
Dark orange clay. Black glaze; White paint and tan slip.
