Title:   Oinochoe with Glaze Decoration
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Mended from several pieces; small fragments of body and base missing. Thin and rather tall, the narrow neck exaggerated by the sharply flaring lip. Trefoil mouth, very broad in front, pinched up at the sides and with a point projecting inwards from the handle. Handle triangular in section with a central rib. Ring foot. An ivy wreath painted around the neck.
Coarse light red micaceous clay, covered with a gray slip. Save at one point, the glaze has disappeared from the painted wreath but the shadow of the pattern remains.
Context:   Well.
