Description: | Four joining pieces, broken all around, also stem of base broken. Exterior has two reserved concentric circles upon which rest a palmette and swirl design. To the right of this is one foot, and to the left are two pairs of lower legs, one frontal with drapery hanging behind, one in profile. Interior: tondo set off by maeander inside which, on ground line, stand two males with long hair, clad in himatia, and looking at one another. Left arms of both are hidden by their himatia. Figure at left holds oinochoe or chous in right hand by side, figure at right has lyre with right arm bent across body toward it. Relatively soft red to gray clay. | |
