Description:   Mended from many pieces and restored in plaster. Simple foot with flat underside; slightly uneven ovoid body. Strap handles, profiled lip. Two lines below belly; shoulder is main area of decoration. Three bands at bottom. Above these on each side are two spirals. On handles, a cross, which continues down ending in a loop on either side of handle. Band on inside and outside of lip.
Submycenaean.
Brown glaze. Pale yellow clay.

ADDENDA V. Desborough has seen this vase and suggests a date in the 11th c.
