Description: | The larger fragment preserves part of the overhanging rim, with large egg and dot pattern. On the top are, at the left, the forepaws of a seated panther(?), next, a plant conventionalized to a spiral, and to the right the wings and hindquarters of a seated sphinx or griffin. The small piece preserves a griffin's head, and a bit of the reserved area around the handle. Poor glaze; no contours. The inside of the lid glazed. | |
