Description: | Parts of the lip and of the strainer are missing. Heavy base ring; ovoid body drawn into a slender neck above. Bell-shaped mouth with inverted lip and strainer in the neck. A short spout projects, with an upward slope, from just below the neck. At an angle of 90 ° to the right of the spout there was a vertical strap handle, now missing. Fine red clay completely covered with black glaze fired in places to red, and much flaked. Hellenistic. | |
