Title:   Black Glaze Cup Kantharos

Description:   Mended from several fragments; all of one handle and a part of the other, missing; small piece gone from foot. A heavy moulded lip surrounds the deep, flaring rim, which is set in from a small bulging body. The latter tapers sharply to the bottom, where it rests on a high, moulded conical foot. The handles, high, horizontal, upwards curving, were attached to the body at its upper edge.
Attic clay. Rather thin, metallic black glaze, somewhat mottled with red and considerably chipped.
