Title:   Bowl or Lid: Aeginetan

Description:   Complete profile in two joining fragments, preserving about half of bowl with complete foot. Missing two-thirds of rim.
Tall disk foot, slightly concave underneath. Straight, flaring lower wall. Sharp junction with vertical but slightly convex upper wall. On interior, depression at center corresponding with foot. Vertical burnishing on lower wall. Exterior surface finished smoother than interior.
Coarse buff-gray with white and shiny black inclusions. On interior, residue of red (ochre?) and white pigments.
Aeginetan cooking fabric.
Context:   Well.
