Title:   Black Figure Hydria Fragments

Description:   Two fragments, a) seven joining wall fragments and b) two wall fragments, preserve portion of sloping shoulder curving into rounded belly.
a) Preserves a small section of shoulder panel with back leg of a feline and hoof of a quadraped. Below: reserved line, wide black-glazed band. At handle zone elaborate horizontal ivy band: squiggly line between reflected heart-shaped leaves. Between each leaf, three dots. Thin lines above and below. Below ivy band black glaze. Trace of handle at right.
b) Preserves more of ivy band.
Added red: line below shoulder panel, line below ivy band. Added white: leg of quadraped.
Pinkish-orange clay, dull black glaze fired red in places.
