Description:   Two-fifths of rim and upper wall in two joining sherds. Shallow rounded bowl, with flat horizontal rim rising to a point at inner edge. Scar around exterior from stacking in kiln. Undecorated. Abnormal firing.
Clay brown, with partial coating of very thin absorbed slip.
Hayes L.R.P. form 6/7 variant (subsidiary series?).
Associated pottery of 3rd. quarter 5th. Century.
Phocean red slip ware.

Context:   Fill above TC water pipe, with coins nos. 50-63, including Vandal, A.D. 450-457, and one mid-Byzantine.
