Title:   Bowl Fragment: African Red Slip Ware

Description:   Rim to wall fragment (almost to base).
Wide tripartite tilted rim: knobbed lip with internal bevel, shallow triangular band around inside, a narrow horizontal 'step' at junction with bowl.
Deep brick-red, with smooth (polished) deep reddish slip on interior and rim (ending under lip).
Form 68.
Date on context evidence: early 5th c. A.D.
Notes:   Added 6 February 2006.
Context:   Dumped fill in front of Stoa of Attalos. Found with coins #1-35, 90-117 (23 May 1936) and coins #27-90 (3 June 1936).
