Title:   Narrow-necked Amphora Fragment

Description:   Fragment a (whole neck with two joining pieces) preserves less than half of neck and mouth, one handle, part of shoulder and upper body. Fragment b (three joining pieces) and fragments c-g, loose fragments of wall and belly.
Flaring rim with square profile. Short, narrow neck with drip ring at point of upper handle attachment, strap handle. Slightly angular shoulder.
Soft, local fabric (pink temper fabric), with abundant large pink schist inclusions.
Imitates imported narrow-necked amphoras (Agora XXXIII, Amphora form 2).
