Title:   Undecorated Burnished Jug
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Complete. Mended from numerous fragments; largely chipped along breaks from impact on belly; patches of incrustations on one side, one on belly and one at rim.
Globular body. Tall, wide neck with rounded rim. Vertical rolled handle from rim to shoulder. Raised base with flat underside slightly concave at center. Base unevenly trimmed making the pot lopsided. Some patches of pinkish clay added above slip on belly and shoulder as for some ancient repair. Entirely covered in beige yellow slip except for underside.
Surface burnished. Pinkish-orange, micaceous fabric with some lime incrustations.
Mycenaean LHIIIA or LHIIIB.
