Description: | Most of one handle, part of the other, and a few rim and wall fragments missing. Thick, heavy offset rim, flaring out; heavy medium high foot; handles certainly originally bent in at top. Reserved: a line at junction of foot and body; a band at top of foot ring inside; center of underside of foot, except three carelessly drawn circles and a dot. Inside, badly stamped, four small palmettes connected by a small circle. Black glaze, inside and out. Glaze fair; clay pinkish, granular, micaceous. Attic? | |
