Title:   Black Glaze Guttus Fragment

Description:   Part of the shoulder and neck of a pitcher broken off above and below.
The neck is divided from the interior of the pitcher by a partition pierced by five holes, to serve as a strainer. Two moulded rings around exterior base of neck. Shoulder decorated with moulded leaf pattern in relief.
Fine pinkish buff clay, covered with a brownish black glaze.
Context:   Nondescript mixed fill.
