Description:   The body intact; the lid mended from four pieces.
a) Flat base, convex side wall flanged inside at rim to receive lid. Flange and lid pierced for fastening.
Outside, around bottom with glazed band: row of dots; series of eight vertical strokes alternating with large round dots; three narrow bands; row of dots; four narrow bands. Unglazed inside. Bottom undecorated.
b) Lid: flat, with spike handle, truncated. From outer edge: four narrow bands, row of dots, two narrow bands, row of dots, two narrow bands, wide band around handle. On handle, narrow bands.
Buff slip; black glaze badly peeled.
