Title:   Brazier with Plastic Lugs: Bearded Head
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Fragments missing from rim, walls and base. Deep brazier on high concave stand with slightly upturned rim. Two horizontal loop handles, doubled-over upward, at junction of brazier and base. Outward-turned rim with shallow grooves at edges. Three lugs, for holding pots, in the form of relief heads of bearded man. Hole in center of floor surrounded by two raised rings and three more holes. Rectangular door between floor and base of brazier.
Coarse gritty grayish clay, unglazed.
Context:   Well 9. Burned Hellenistic fill.
Handling:   dust free
broken edges of resting surface require caution
