Title:   Kantharos: West Slope and Inscribed
ΤΙΤΛΟΣ:   Ενεπίγραφος αναθηματικός κάνθαρος διακοσμημένος με πυρσούς, άμπελο και κέρατα αφθονίας 275 - 260 π.Χ.

Description:   Kantharos on high stem with high swung cup handles. Fragments from the lower body and parts of the handles missing. Restored in plaster. Front and back, to each side, a torch in thinned clay, with white ribbons and dots; then a stylized vine leaf and cluster in thinned clay; on either side a white cornucopia crowned with thinned clay leaves. A scraped groove around the foot. Glaze and decoration well preserved.

ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ:   Ενεπίγραφος κάνθαρος κατηγορίας δυτικής κλιτύος. Λείπουν θραύσματα από το σώμα και τις λαβές του αγγείου. Φέρει φυτική διακόσμηση και κοσμήματα από ταινίες.
Context:   Cistern, lower Hellenistic fill.
Handling:   Not to be lifted from restored handle.
