Description: | Fragment from the floor of a kylix, broken all around. In the medallion an arming scene: woman on the right places a Corinthian helmet on the head of a man kneeling before her; in her left hand she holds a spear. Around the medallion a broad zone of tongue pattern enclosed by lines. In the field on either side, a nonsense inscription. White for the woman's flesh and the warrior's cloak. Purple and incision for details. On the outside, as preserved, a reserved band. | |
