Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   About half the body preserved, the foot missing. Restored in plaster. Similar in shape to P 6302. No groove below handle zone. In handle zone between incised bands above and below, branches and chaplets in thin clay paint and white. Bearded masks as thumb-rests.
Dull somewhat metallic black glaze.
ADDENDA P 6302: Ring foot. The body squat; rounded below, above straight and sloping in slightly toward the top.
Context:   Cistern. Lower, Hellenistic fill.
