Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Somewhat more slender in proportions than P 6302 and P 6303, and with upper body slightly concave. Below handle zone incised groove. In handle zone front and back, ivy tendrils entwined around a thin clay paint rope; stem and berries in white, leaves in thin clay paint.
Restored in plaster.
Dull black glaze.
ADDENDA P 6302: Ring foot. The body squat; rounded below, above straight and sloping in slightly toward the top.
Context:   Cistern. Lower, Hellenistic fill.
