Title:   Kantharos: West Slope

Description:   Similar in shape to P 6307 ff., but smaller. Leaf thumb-rests. Handle zone defined by incised grooves, the lower one so sloppily done as to be triple in one place. Between, horizontal garland, with double center stroke, in thin clay paint.
Restored in plaster.
Metallic black glaze.
ADDENDA P 6307: Similar to P 6302 but smaller. One continuous curve from top to bottom but upper wall very nearly straight. P 6302: Ring foot. The body squat; rounded below, above straight and sloping in slightly toward the top.
Context:   Cistern. Lower, Hellenistic fill.
