Title:   Plate Fragment with Rouletting and Graffito: Gray Ware

Description:   About one-quarter of a very large plate preserved. Ring foot broken off; plate mended in antiquity with lead clamps, of which one remains. Flat shallow floor with broad projecting rim, moulded at the edge, and stamped: palmettes, then cable pattern. Two grooves around outer edge of floor. Around the center of the floor, two broad bands of crisscross rouletting; between them, extremely large stamped palmettes.
