Description:   Fragments missing from lip and walls; foot chipped. Round-bodied jug on flaring ring foot. Round mouth; short neck, wide and slightly concave in profile, finished with a narrow projecting rim. Rising band handle, from top of lip to shoulder.
Fairly fine buff clay, in part burned gray; thin fabric. Dull black glaze on the neck inside and out, and on the foot; also a band around the body at the point of the lower handle attachment.
Context:   Well.
