Title:   Phiale: Six's Technique

Description:   Part of wall and rim only. Suspension hole near rim. Outside glazed black for ca. 0.025m.; a white line over the black near the lip. Below, unglazed. Edge of lip reserved. Inside, black glaze with two zones of ornament painted over glaze and bordered by narrow white bands. Outer zone, a cornucopia, a lyre, and an uncertain object, perhaps a leaf. Inner zone, cornucopia and lyre. Red for cornucopias, lower cross pieces of lyre, and leaf. Cream color for upper cross-pieces, keys, and sounding boards; white for arms of lyre.
