Title:   Red Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Fragment from shoulder and wall of a closed pot. Parts of two figures preserved; at left, a woman right, playing the double flutes, her hands, the flutes, and a bit of the front of the head(?) preserved. At the right, a nude youth moving right, looking back left, his right arm raised. His hair, falling in curls to his shoulders, is bound by a fillet. His cloak falls behind him.
White with yellow over-painting for the woman's hands and the youth's cloak. White, painted over the black glaze, for the flutes. Added clay, with pink over, for the youth's fillet and hair ornament. No relief contours.
Context:   Well.
