Title:   Black Glaze Plate Fragment with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   About half. Similar to P 8179 (ΠΘ 1848) but the rim twice grooved on top. Rouletted ring at center of floor; stamped linked palmettes, another ring of rouletting.
Glaze black to red, and somewhat peeled, over all.

ADDENDA P 8179: Similar to P 8178 (ΠΘ 1847), but much smaller, and with narrower plain rim. P 8178: Plain high ring foot; floor sloping up slightly toward broad and thickened rim lightly grooved along its inner edge. Exterior carefully profiled.
