Title:   Skyphos Fragment: Corinthian

Description:   A large part of one side preserved, mended from twelve pieces; none of the base. At the right edge of the fragment a trace of the spring of the handle is preserved.
Around the bottom, broad red rays. Above, fine horizontal bands; vertical stripes and a panel with short wavy strokes around the rim. The lower two-thirds of the glaze decoration is red; the upper third brown (effect from stacking in kiln?). The inside glazed red; the lip reserved, with a single glazed stripe.
Fine pale clay, buff to pinkish.
