Title:   Red Figure Bell Krater Fragments

Description:   Most of one side, and non-joining pieces of rim, of a bell krater. Olive wreath with berries on rim; maeander broken by dotted cross-squares, below. Start of handle attachment at right of fragment. Parts of four figures: in the center, a bearded male figure, right, partly draped, wreathed, and carrying a kantharos. He faces a youth who stands(?) behind an altar; he holds an oinochoe in his right hand, in his left a tray for offerings. To the right, a cloaked figure carrying a laurel staff; to the left, a bit of a flute player. Relief contours for profiles. Glaze red to black; streaked inside.
