Title:   Amphora: West Slope

Description:   Bits from rim and side missing. Restored in plaster. Usual shape and handles; groove above and below handles and at base of neck. On the neck, in alternate yellow and white, a garland of pendent grapes and rosettes on either side of a festoon. On the shoulder, diminishing squares beside a checkerboard. Small base.
Body black glazed, much mottled with red; clay presumably Attic.
Context:   Cistern system 3, east chamber, strosis 3, mixed earth.
