Description:   Bottom, mouth and band handle missing. The mouth was probably round.
Glaze to handle zone, with one reserved band half way up and three just below handle attachment. Glaze bands around neck and mouth, which was probably round. Vertical bands on handle. Wide curved band on front of shoulder.
Clay purplish-gray with many white grits. Thin glaze, black to brownish. Certainly not Attic.
Context:   Well.
