Title:   Red Figure Oinochoe Fragments

Description:   Six fragments, not all certainly from the same pot.
a) and b) From junction of neck and shoulder with start of trefoil mouth. Depict upper border of egg and dart in a round-ended band with a small loop at each end; large ivy leaves project from above and below the band. Of the figured decoration is preserved (a) part of a male figure seated left, looking back right, nude except for drapery thrown over his right thigh, and a headdress with hanging fringed end. Relief contour for headdress.
c) and d) Body fragments with the face of a female figure, left, wearing a stephane. In front of her is part of a thyrsos from the stem of which springs a white spray with berries. Relief contour for profile.
f) From another chous. Part of a lower border, with egg and dot.
