Title:   Red Figure Hydria Fragments
Description:   a) Parts of three figures: at the right, a woman wearing embroidered chiton and himation is seated left on a chair which rests on a small platform. At the centre, a standing female figure wearing an embroidered chiton and short cloak stands turned to the right, towards the seated figure. At the left, part of the drapery of a third figure; below, part of a long necked bird and lizard, and a plant. Meander and checkerboard border.
b) Most of the upper part of the seated figure seen to the right on fragment a).
c) Part of a handle-attachment, with egg-pattern around. At the left the hair and upraised hand of a female figure dancing (?) left; above, an embroidered taenia; at the right, a bit of drapery (?) cut off by the line of the handle.
d) Two bits of drapery; the tip of a plant; and the trace of some representation (possible handle-ornament), above.
e) A bit of the lower border; two plants, and a foot (?) right.
White for necklace, berries of plants, fringes of taeniae on a).
Relief contour for flesh parts; for shoulder of seated figure; for stems of plants. Brown details on drapery.
