Description: | Missing: A fragment from the bottom behind The back is roughly modeled. The bottom is open and shows no trace of an attached base. A youthful female figure stands erect, her left foot slightly out-thrust. She wears a long chiton and over it an himation drawn tightly around the the shoulders and covering the [???] right arm, it's loose and falling loosely over the left hand raised to the height of the chest. The hair is drawn back from he brow into a knot on the back of the head, the knot is broken away. Clay: Firm, buff, slightly micaceous, showing traces of burning. Both on flesh and garment there remains a little of a white engobe and possibly traces of red paint on it's hair. | |
