Title:   Votive Teracotta
Description:   Head and feet are missing.
A youthful male figure, erect, the right knee flexed. Only the lower part of the body is covered by a single garment whose upper edge is rolled and drawn diagonally across the lower part of the abdomen, its loose ends framing behind and held by the left forearm. The right arm hangs loosely by the side.
Color: The garment and the lower part of the enclosed flesh were covered by a white engobe. The flesh was done in cinnamon red which in the lower parts overlies the white.
Clay: Fine, slightly micaceous, buff but burned in places to ash grey. The back is roughly flattened, the body hollow.
Context:   East sanctuary; clearing the course of the terrace wall.
