Title:   Relief Fragment with Nude Male Figures

Description:   Back and front surfaces of background preserved, but no original edge.
Parts of two male figures preserved. The first, preserved from chest to ankles, nude save for cloak hanging in folds along his right side, bends over to raise from the ground a second figure, also nude and preserved from upper chest to hips. The first figure grasps the second below the chest, his left arm passing under the left arm of the fallen figure.
First figure seen in profile, the second frontally, but twisted as if limp.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in cleaning of Stoa of Attalos.
