Title:   Lion Fragment from Grave Monument

Description:   Crouching lion mended from many pieces.
One large piece preserves most of neck, mane and part of forelegs of lion. Eight other fragments with original surface, at least one of which joins, and six pieces of similar looking marble.
Late archaic.
Island marble.
Notes:   Old Grid: ca. 90/ΜΓ.
Context:   Modern cesspool wall south of Church of Holy Apostles.
